We understand that the health and safety of your children are a top priority. That’s why we are proud to introduce our new Health Essentials program. This comprehensive system helps us mitigate the spread of potential infections, with a special focus on helping ward off COVID-19.

Health Essentials is designed to expand upon our existing disinfection and health protocols, providing parents and staff members with an extra layer of peace of mind. This important step will further enhance our commitment to creating a healthy and safe environment.

At Happy Little Ones, we believe that achieving health starts with understanding. Our staff is educated on the latest health and safety standards the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention set. We ensure that kids are taught how proper hygienic practices can help keep them healthy.

➢    Enhanced Hygiene

Nothing beats the effectiveness of soap and water when preventing infection, so we have increased handwashing frequency to ensure all children and staff are always using this method properly. All must wash their hands upon entering their room daily and follow handwashing procedures throughout the day.

➢    Healthy Environment

We take great pride in providing a clean facility safe for families. To do this, we adhere to advanced cleaning procedures, including daily laundering of delicate items, and bedding, a multi-step cleaning process, disinfecting classrooms throughout the day, and deep cleaning our entire daycare every week. We also limit items brought into our facility to maintain a safe environment at all times.

➢    Symptom Monitoring

We keep a watchful eye on all children for any signs of illness or discomfort. Upon arrival, each child will undergo a daily health check-in with temperature monitoring at the entrance. Any changes in symptoms are tracked throughout the day, and if needed, parents will be notified immediately to arrange pickup for their child.

➢    Isolation Protocol

If any symptomatic child is observed with us, they will be isolated from other children as soon as possible. Our staff always follows strict protocols when separating anyone who displays mild signs of any illness or discomfort out of an abundance of caution for everyone’s health and safety.
