Toddler Care And FAQs

Is it necessary for my child to be fully vaccinated to attend Happy Little One's Daycare?
Yes. All children attending our daycare must maintain the vaccinations recommended by the CDC and American Academy of Pediatrics, according to the Washington Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) WAC code 110-300A-7020.
Does your facility accept tuition subsidies from State DSHS or Working Connections?
No, we are not affiliated with State DSHS or Working Connections tuition subsidy programs.
Will you help toilet-train my toddler?
Absolutely! We’ll work with you and your little one’s routine to ensure consistency during toilet training. Rest assured that we will never force a child or punish them if they cannot use the restroom.
Are there cameras throughout the classrooms?
Yes! Here at Happy Little Ones, we take pride in providing secure streaming video for parents so they can check up on their kids throughout the day from anywhere.
Are non-disposable diapers allowed?
For the safety and health of our classroom, only disposable diapers are allowed – no cloth diapers permitted.
Can I bring food for my child or provide their lunch?
Unfortunately, for the health and safety of your child’s classroom, outside food is not allowed due to potential allergies. Although, if your baby is in the infant room, you will be responsible for providing their meals.
What qualifications are required of the teachers?
All Happy Little Ones teachers must meet (or exceed) state childcare provider requirements and receive professional training annually. Before hiring, we conduct federal and local background checks. Many lead teachers have a degree in early childhood development, such as an Associate’s or Bachelor’s.
